Boeing Aerospace OperationsBoeing Defense Space and Security (BDS) Mobility Surveillance & Bombers (MS&B) is seeking an Industrial Engineering Manager to manage a team of industrial engineers in support of the Executive Fleet and B-52 Programs in San Antonio TX.
A successful manager in this role will have strong interpersonal and coaching skills that will further enable our business unit to achieve team and program goals while developing a work environment that promotes safety quality accountability trust and teamwork.

Position Responsibilities:
- Leads and manages employees applying industrial engineering techniques and concepts to optimize production system design operational efficiency and after-market services.
- Manages employees performing engineering and technical activities in the area of Production Engineering.
- Develops and executes project and process plans implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals.
- Acquires resources for projects and processes provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers stakeholders peers partners and direct reports.
- Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches products and processes.
- Manages develops and motivates employees.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor of Science from an accredited course of study in engineering engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology) computer science data science mathematics physics chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement.
- 5 years of engineering experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Ability to effectively communicate at all levels of management customers and partners.
- Master of Science in an engineering discipline.
- Previous management experience.
- Ability to build a safe environment of inclusion transparency and trust.
- Leadership skills to lead and influence positive outcomes.
- Previous experience in leading mentoring and engaging individuals and teams.
- Experience providing active mentorship and career guidance.
