Job Summary
The Route Supervisor supervises route drivers in providing prompt efficient and courteous service to all customers through utilization of routing system.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities

- Supervises assigns and organizes driver routes ensuring route efficiency based on stops and route costs.
- Completes daily and weekly reports on tickets manifests costs and routing. Responsible for new personnel interviewing training and education on proper procedures.
- Conducts accident investigations and reports findings to upper management.
- Manage and document driver safety meetings ensuring compliance with all company safety rules and regulations as well as federal state and local regulations.
- Monitors driver hours and performance to maintain compliance with DOT regulations. Responsible for completing driver evaluations.
- Coordinates Mobile Wash Unit and Tank Delivery to customers site including input and follow-up with Customer Service Representative.
- Maintain current customer accounts through personal and telephone contact ensuring quality service to each customer in coordination with Customer Service Representative.
- All other duties as assigned by management.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- 3 years of experience in a supervisory/management capacity within a service business environment; route sales and/or routing systems experience preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in related field preferred.
- Route sales and/or routing system experience preferred.
- Works well with others in a team environment.
- Communicates clearly in verbal and written form.
- Highly organized; superior time management skills.
- Good math and computer skills.
Physical Demands
- Frequently required to walk stand sit climb balance stoop bend and kneel.
- Occasionally must push pull move or lift up to 50lbs.
- Regularly required reach with hands and arms.
Work Environment
- Job functions will be carried out at a plant location office environment vehicles or personal vehicle and in customer locations.
