Job Summary
Senior Project Officer (Technology Transfer) (at the rank of Clerk I) in the Li Ka Shing Faculty of Medicine (Ref. 533444) (to commence as soon as possible on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme totalling up to 10% of basic salary with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree or above in medicine science business or related discipline;
- At least 3 years of work experience in the relevant industry;
- Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese;
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
- Ability to work independently and under pressure;
- Highly motivated innovative and hardworking.
Responsibilities:
- Work in the Technology Transfer Unit within HKUMed contributing to technology commercialization activities;
- Collaborate closely with researchers in the faculty internal departments and external collaborators to identify and develop faculty/industry collaboration and commercialization opportunities;
- Organize events to promote commercialization initiatives among the faculty community;
- Provide support to senior management during meetings and engagements with government offices organizations or corporations;
- Assist in the administration of innovation & technology-related funding schemes;
- Perform other duties as assigned.
