Job Summary

Job Title: Data Analyst (With statistical and analytical programming)
Location: Toronto ON (Hybrid - 3 Days/week onsite)
Contract Duration: 6-12 Months

Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst with strong analytical and technical expertise to join our team on a 6 month onsite contract in Toronto. The ideal candidate will have experience in data cleansing analysis visualization and reporting with a strong foundation in statistics and mathematics.

Key Responsibilities:

Cleanse prepare and validate large datasets to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Explore and analyze data to uncover trends patterns and insights.
Apply statistical methods to interpret and derive actionable insights from data.
Develop and maintain reports dashboards and visualizations to support business decisions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and communicate findings effectively.
Leverage expertise in the domain to provide meaningful insights and recommendations.
Utilize programming languages and tools to automate processes manipulate data and implement analytical models.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in data analysis reporting and visualization.
Strong expertise in SQL and Oracle for data extraction and manipulation.
Experience with Simulink/MATLAB for data modeling and analysis.
Proficiency in statistical and analytical programming languages such as R Python and MATLAB.
Strong mathematical and statistical skills to support data analysis and modeling.
Ability to create visualizations dashboards and reports that effectively communicate insights.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proven experience in data analysis exploration and visualization.
Strong domain knowledge relevant to the organizations data and operations.
