Location: Atlanta GA 30329

Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: 8-hr Days

Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week

Weekly Pay Rate: $1840 - $2000; (Negotiable based on experience)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Medical Technologist for a day shift assignment at our laboratory facility in Atlanta GA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) laboratory operations and experience conducting scientific investigations. This is a great opportunity to join a collaborative team and contribute to essential diagnostic and research services.

Responsibilities:

Perform routine and complex clinical laboratory tests in areas such as chemistry hematology microbiology immunology and molecular biology.
Maintain and ensure compliance with GMP standards and laboratory protocols.
Analyze test results perform quality control and troubleshoot testing issues.
Document all activities and results accurately in laboratory information systems (LIS).
Participate in method development validation and process improvements.
Conduct scientific investigations and apply study design and research methodologies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA R&D and manufacturing teams.
Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure optimal functionality.

Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Medical Technology or Biological Sciences (required).
Minimum of 2 years of GMP laboratory experience (required).
2 years of experience in scientific investigation research principles and methodology.
Strong understanding of laboratory safety procedures and regulatory requirements.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency with laboratory information systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
