Job Summary
Are you looking for a career change Do you have experience in repairing tools progressive dies and fixtures If so come join us. We are a metal stamping company in Cleveland Ohio seeking a full-time experienced Tool & Die Maker with at least three years of experience.
Hourly rate of $26 - $37. Full benefits including medical dental vision life insurance 401(k) match tuition reimbursement vacation and indoor parking. Must be willing to work overtime and Saturdays when business necessitates.
Must read complex blueprints and sketches understand shop math and perform maintenance on in-press dies. Prefer deep draw experience.
Journeyman papers plus minimum 3 years experience repairing complex progressive dies. Must be proficient operating manual conventional lathes mills grinders and related machine shop equipment. Ability to independently investigate and correct tooling failures. A solid work history and excellent attendance record is required. Requires lifting up to 80 lbs.
Full-time first shift position
Mon-Thurs- 6:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Physical Demands:
Occasionally required to stand sit walk crouch kneel balance climb stairs; uses hands and arms to reach; occasionally lifts up to 80 pounds; specific vision abilities include close vision distance vision depth perception peripheral vision and the ability to adjust and focus. Works indoors but is exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time. Noise level is moderate to high.
