- Excellent written English grammar and communication skills.
- Proficiency in eCommerce content strategy SEO and taxonomy.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to derive insights from data and take action.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.
Technical Skill Required:
- Experience with CMS platforms (Shopify Magento etc.).
- Proficient with marketplace seller portals (Amazon Seller Central Flipkart Seller Hub etc.).
- Hands-on experience with Excel/Google Sheets (pivot tables v-lookups data validation).
- Familiarity with analytics tools (Google Analytics Data Studio or marketplace-specific analytics).
- Basic knowledge of HTML or image editing tools (Photoshop/Canva) is a plus.
No of Years Experience:
- 4 8 years of relevant experience in catalogue/content management in an eCommerce environment.
- Prior experience handling both D2C website and marketplaces is essential.
- Experience in managing catalogues for Toys & Sports Home & Kitchen or FMCG brands is advantageous.
Job Responsibilities:
Catalogue Management:
- Own and manage end-to-end product listings across D2C and marketplaces.
- Ensure accurate product data including titles descriptions specifications prices images and inventory levels.
- Coordinate with design and marketing teams for high-quality images and A content.
Content Optimization:
- Create SEO-optimized product titles descriptions and metadata for better search visibility.
- Implement marketplace-specific content best practices (Amazon SEO Flipkart Myntra guidelines etc.).
- Maintain brand tone consistency and compliance across platforms.
Coordination and Execution:
- Liaise with category managers supply chain and inventory teams for timely product onboarding.
- Collaborate with tech teams for product taxonomy tagging and attribute mapping.
Analytics and Performance Monitoring:
- Monitor product performance metrics like CTR conversion rates and bounce rates.
- Use tools (Google Analytics marketplace dashboards) to make content and catalogue improvements.
- Provide weekly/monthly reports to the Business Head on catalogue performance and opportunities.
Marketplace Compliance & Hygiene:
- Ensure all content is in compliance with marketplace guidelines.
- Manage content audits and cleanup activities to reduce duplication or listing errors.
- Monitor and resolve product suspensions or content-related issues.
Team & Process Development:
- Define and document SOPs for listing workflows and content management.
- Manage junior catalogue executives or coordinate with third-party service providers if applicable.
