The Role: Community Liaison
As the Community Liaison you will serve as the bridge between the company and the local community. Your mission is to strengthen partnerships champion community engagement and drive initiatives that promote social and economic development aligned with the organisations sustainability goals.
Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain strong relationships with local communities leaders and stakeholders.

Coordinate and implement social development and upliftment projects.

Track and report on community initiatives and engagement outcomes.
-
Facilitate communication between internal departments and external partners.

Support employment equity and local supplier development initiatives.
-
Represent the company at community events forums and outreach activities.
About You
-
Bachelors degree in Social or Community Development or a related field.

Minimum 2 years of experience in community liaison stakeholder engagement or social development.

Understanding of B-BBEE and community development frameworks.

Excellent interpersonal communication and negotiation skills.

Strong organisational and reporting ability.

Knowledge of local communities and social networks is advantageous.

Passionate about building trust creating opportunity and driving positive impact.
