Job Summary
Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Site Agent to join a well-established company in the Civil Engineering sector based in Cape Town. The successful candidate will be responsible for the effective management and delivery of civil engineering projects ensuring they are completed to the highest quality standards.
Minimum Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering
- 7 to 8 years relevant experience in the construction/civil engineering sector
- Proven experience across various types of projects
- Ability to work independently and manage a project from inception to completion
- Strong leadership organizational and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all site activities to ensure compliance with specifications timelines and quality standards
- Coordinate with clients consultants subcontractors and suppliers
- Prepare project reports monitor progress and manage budgets and resources effectively
- Ensure adherence to health safety and environmental standards on site
- Take ownership of projects working independently to achieve successful outcomes
