The Value Chain Coordinator Rigid Sheet Division is responsible for managing and optimizing the entire value stream associated with the extrusion of PET sheets across multiple production lines. This key leadership position oversees the complete process from raw material selection to the final product ensuring efficient high-quality and cost-effective operations.
The role requires a deep understanding of PET extrusion technologies additives and maintenance practices as well as an innovative approach to implementing new materials and manufacturing techniques. The Coordinator will also lead the development of advanced sheet structures such as EVOH barrier antistatic and conductive products to enhance product performance and market competitiveness.
Responsibilities include supervising production performance maintaining operational excellence leading continuous improvement initiatives coordinating maintenance programs managing supply chain interactions and ensuring full compliance with safety and environmental standards. Requirements
Education:
Experience:
Minimum 710 years of experience in PET extrusion thermoforming or plastics manufacturing.
Proven success in managing production lines optimizing throughput and improving OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness).
Experience developing high-value sheet structures such as EVOH barrier and conductive laminates.
Demonstrated expertise in Lean Manufacturing Six Sigma or continuous improvement frameworks.
Technical Competencies:
Deep understanding of PET extrusion machinery additives and material properties.
Strong background in process optimization and troubleshooting.
Familiarity with automation and process control systems.
Working knowledge of Oracle Fusion or similar ERP systems.
Soft Skills:
