Are you ready to make a difference in the lives of patients while growing your professional skills Emplify Health by Gundersen Health System is seeking a Social Worker Internto join our adult inpatient medical units 2026 Spring semester. This is a unique opportunity to work with diverse patient populations and be part of a team that values empathy collaboration and growth.

What Youll Work

.8 FTE 64 hours every 2 weeks
Schedule: MondayFriday daytime hours

What Youll Do

Contribute to assessment planning consulting education and referral process by collecting and documenting data at the direction of the Social Worker.
Assist in formulating and carrying out the patients individualized plan of care.
The Social Work Intern may reinforce patient education that has been initiated by the Social Worker.

What Youll Need

High school or equivalency
Must be qualified to graduate from a baccalaureate or masters Social Work Program between December and May following this internship.
