The Early Learning Coalition of Palm Beach County is looking for a Customer Service Representative - Bilingual Creole to join our team!

The Early Learning Coalition of Palm Beach County Inc. strives to ensure that children and their families have access to high-quality affordable early learning programs and services in our community. We are a local 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to building a community-wide commitment to ensure every child is ready to succeed in school and life through comprehensive high-quality early learning environments.
SUMMARY:
The Customer Service Representative is responsible for receiving a high volume of inbound calls scheduling appointments and providing resources to clients. Inputting accurate information into various systems and providing information about the services available. A high level of customer service is required. This position requires a candidate who is Bilingual and able to read write and speak in English and Creole proficiently is required.
HOURS:
This is a full-time telecommute position and business hours at the Palm Springs location are Monday through Thursday 8:00 am to 5:30 pm and Friday from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm. Longer hours evenings and weekends may be necessary on occasion.
PAY RATE: up to $18.62 per hour commensurate with experience
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Answer calls schedule appointments send and receive email.
- Provide general information about available resources.
- Assist with gathering detailed information accurately.
- Responds to requests for information from clients/providers in a timely manner.
- Input information into Database systems.
- Schedule appointments using appointment setting software.
- Enter and update files.
- Assist with provider inquiries.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or equivalent required Associate Degree in a related field preferred.
- Six months related of experience in a call center or customer service environment handling high volume of calls or incoming customers.
- Must be customer service oriented with a compassionate customer service mindset: empathetic responsive patient and conscientious.
- Possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Data entry and typing skills the ability to type swiftly and accurately.
- Highly reliable with the ability to maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
- Work with confidential customer information and treat it sensitively.
