Requirements

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Recruiter with a track record of successfully attracting and hiring top talent (agency or in-house experience welcome!).
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills that enable you to build strong relationships with candidates and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruiting tools.
  • Adaptability and a solutions-oriented mindset to navigate challenges and seize opportunities.

Required Skills:

The Recruiter works closely with the Recruiting Manager to coordinate the recruiting functions of the Department for the exempt and non-exempt positions within the company. Provides the sourcing for passive and active candidates through various social networks direct sourcing networking job fairs on-line applicant tracking system and professional organizations. Provides a realistic overview of the Company using positive branding techniques to attract and retain talent. Adheres to the TA Department processes and contributes with recommendations for opportunity improvement and changes with positive impact for the department. Conducts various pre-employment assessments background investigations and pre-employment activities. Coordinates the onboarding functions with candidates in compliance with Company policies and procedures. Supports in the design and implementation of overall recruiting strategy for assigned open positions. Understands the positions within the company and follows closely the requirements with job descriptions and job specifications. Recommends changes with seeing changes in job markets. Prepare recruitment materials and post open positions to appropriate job board/colleges/industry sites etc Source and recruit candidates by using databases social media. Screen candidates resumes and job applications. Assess applicants relevant knowledge skills soft skills experience and aptitudes Adheres with specific positions in the recruitment and employment process to meet guidelines of the Department of Transportation (DOT) and government regulations personnel records files associate job evaluation and compensation management. Responsible for the timely entry of information to include the creation update and maintenance of the candidate information within ATS for tracking purposes Provide analytical and well documented recruiting reports to management Proven work experience as a Recruiter (either an in-house recruiter or a associateing agency recruiter). Solid ability to conduct different types of interviews (video phone and in-person). Hands on experience with various selection processes (assessments phone interviewing reference check etc) Contributes in the positive and creative TA Department Team culture. Overtime weekends and holidays may be required depending on business demand.
