Temporary Part-Time DSP Flex Position (approximately 11 months with possibility of extension) SEIU Halton/Peel - Brampton/Mississauga
Hourly Wage: Peel/Halton Bargaining Unit Collective Agreement (currently $24.68 - $28.88 per hour)

Direct Support Professional(DSP)employeeswork with people who experience developmental disabilities as they live in their homes and communities. This position assists people in their daily life working with them and their connections to ensure that they can live fully Support Professionals recognizepeoples rights to direct their life understanding that each person has unique gifts and needs andtheysupport people to learn skills for their own growth and development.

Requirements:
- Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Police Check
- Access to reliable transportation (some travel required)
Preferred:
- Previous Developmental Services work experience
- 6 months relevant experience to this position preferred
- Developmental Services Worker Child and Youth Worker or post-secondary education in a related field
