About the Role

This new and exciting role places you at the forefront of the energy transition with a strong focus on solar and emerging customer energy technologies.

As an Energy Services Specialist youll play a key role in delivering Endeavour Energys vision for a customer-led future-ready network. Sitting within the NexGrid team youll combine human-centred service with advanced technology and AI-driven tools to support customers and partners as they adopt solar batteries and other distributed energy solutions.

Youll be the go-to expert for complex enquiries providing clear guidance across solar installations connections commissioning and ongoing support. Working closely with internal teams and external partners youll help customers feel informed supported and confident as they navigate the energy transition.

Key accountabilities

• Resolve complex enquiries end-to-end providing real-time support through onboarding configuration testing and commissioning while ensuring customer outcomes are confirmed and closed.
• Use AI insights and structured knowledge to co-resolve issues efficiently reducing handoffs maintaining service continuity and enhancing guided knowledge content for both human and digital channels.
• Analyse demand trends and customer feedback to identify pain points reduce failure demand and contribute to continuous improvement through agile sprints retrospectives and service hackathons.
• Collaborate across Engineering Field Operations and Digital teams to triage and resolve escalations share learnings and shape future service models aligned with Endeavours Customer Playbook and DTG2035 strategy.
• Embrace continuous learning and innovation staying across emerging products and services to ensure customers and partners are supported throughout the energy transition.

About You

Youre a practical problem-solver and strong communicator who enjoys helping customers understand and adopt new energy technologies. Youre comfortable translating technical information into clear customer-friendly guidance and thrive in fast-paced evolving environments. With hands-on or technical exposure to solar installations or electrical systems you bring credibility curiosity and a passion for enabling better customer outcomes through innovation and collaboration.

To succeed in this role youll bring:

• A Certificate III in Customer Contact or equivalent experience in a digital or technical service setting.
• At least 3 years experience in a customer-facing or technical support role within an omnichannel environment.
• Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to manage complex cross-team issues.

Highly desirable

• Experience as a solar installer or electrician.

Desirable:

• Agile Foundations or equivalent training.
