Location:One of the five boroughs of the New York City metropolitan area
Schedule:MondayFriday 9:00 AM 5:00 PM 40 hours/week
Salary:$290000 $350000 per year
Job Summary:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seekingDeputy Executive Directorfor an exciting job inone of the five boroughs of the New York City metropolitan area.
Responsibilities:
Oversee planning development and evaluation of programs policies and goals set by the CEO.
Supervise the implementation of hospital operations programs and policies coordinating activities across departments and corporate staff.
Ensure readiness for regulatory inspections and compliance with healthcare standards.
Manage procurement of supplies equipment construction and facility modifications within policy and budgetary guidelines.
Lead interdepartmental meetings and designate staff to committees as appropriate.
Maintain effective professional relationships with staff external agencies and regulatory organizations.
Support hospital management reporting systems for strategic planning and evaluation.
Promote a culture of accountability and service excellence through performance management and staff development.
Prepare review and manage fiscal year budgets to align operations with financial targets.
Serve as acting Chief Executive Director in the CEOs absence.
Required Qualifications:
Masters degree in Hospital Administration Business Administration Public Health Health Care Administration or a related field from an accredited institution.
Minimum six years of high-level administrative experience in a hospital or healthcare setting including substantial community relations experience.
Strong knowledge of hospital administration laws regulations and operational standards.
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook Excel Word Suite project management tools and Google Docs.
Proven leadership with the ability to supervise a team of at least 5 direct reports.
Certifications & Licensure:
Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
BLS certification required.
Must provide primary source verification of RN license and registration from NYSED.
