Program Summary

KBR leads the government services world contingency market by providing responsive full-service logistics support to forces deployed around the world under the Logistics Civil Augmentation Program contract (LOGCAP). KBRs enduring mission support of the LOGCAP program dates back to 1992 when we served as the contracts original prime contractor. Today we have a workforce of over 6000 people representing 40 nationalities who perform work on the contract in 14 countries.

Job Summary

Under limited supervision diagnoses repairs and performs preventive maintenance on numerical control computerized numerical control precision and conventional machine tools gasoline diesel and battery-operated vehicles downhole drilling tools and motors and other production equipment used in the development manufacture and testing of products. Areas of specialization may include: electrical mechanical vacuum hydraulic refrigeration NC repair and machine tool rebuilding mobile equipment and electrical production equipment positive displacement mud-motors mud-operated pulsers or downhole drilling tools. Uses measuring instruments and diagnoses and makes general repairs to production equipment. Determines replacement parts as needed. Performs limited welding basic plumbing and or grinding activities. Works from prints and schematics. Skills typically acquired through 2-3 years of experience.
