Job Overview:
We are looking for technicians who are energetic upbeat and have a positive attitude. The technicians we are looking for have to seek out solutions to tough problems with a strong passion for doing whats right for our guests.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- General Service Technicians / Mechanics perform all maintenance and repair services including but not limited to; oil changes tire rotations battery replacements suspension alignments and more
- Work as part of a team to troubleshoot guest concerns quickly and effectively
- Complete full accurate and honest courtesy vehicle inspections
- Ensure all preventive maintenance reports are complete and accurate
- Comply with federal state and local regulations that affect service operations such as hazardous waste disposal and OSHA right-to-know
- Assist in all housekeeping functions as directed by Management
- Work closely with the service department and effectively communicate the extent of any damage or malfunctions on a guests vehicle
- Follow and promote our high standards of safety cleanliness and organization
Qualifications :
Qualifications:
- Current drivers licenses
- Previous experience working as a General Service Technician
- The ability to identify vehicle parts and determine state of health of the major systems
- Having a true desire to help educate the guests as to the needs of their vehicles by way of a thorough inspection and detailed explanation
- Drive manual transmission vehicles
- Efficiently navigate a computer
Physical Requirements:
- Occasionally lift and/or move over 100 pounds
- Ability to stand most of the day
- Ability to crouch squat or kneel for short durations
- Ability to navigate and use technology with proficiency
- Ability to work in a fast-paced role
- Ability to determine what needs to be done around the shop without instruction
- Must have a valid drivers license
- Must have a positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Must have a team player attitude
- Be able to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head
- Work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicles needed repair
- Have the needed dexterity in order to efficiently use hand-tools
- Walk/stand for the majority of the workday
- Keeping a brisk work pace in a high-volume environment
