We are a comprehensive non-profit organization that serves older adults and people with disabilities in King County. Our mission is to partner with older adults to provide accessible and inclusive services so they can age their way.

We are currently seeking a Program Coordinatorto join our team at Lake City Seniors in Seattle WA.

What will YOU do

The Program Coordinator performs work using knowledge and experience specific to the program. The Program Coordinator exercises independent judgement in interpreting and applying rules and regulations. Independently advises staff program participants and/or the public regarding program content policies procedures and activities.

Pay Rate:$27.66 per hour.

Work Schedule:Monday Through Friday 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and monitor program activities in relation to established program goals and within established program parameters.
  • Provide information and advice to staff program participants and/or the public regarding program content policies and activities. Recommend alternative courses of action; promote the program to outside organizations.
  • Monitor budget status in line with program activities plans or priorities.
  • Track reconcile and process records and/or files such as program invoices expenses bank deposits vouchers and other documents.
  • Attend meetings and/or conferences as program representative.
  • Problem solve independently for the benefit of program clients vendors and management.
  • Perform a broad range of program administrative support. Update and maintain program databases. Gather collate and analyze data. Create and distribute reports.
  • Develop and distribute promotional materials and information.
  • May recruit screen place train and supervise volunteers.
  • Perform the work of lower classified positions.
  • May make public presentations related to the program.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma OR Equivalent.
  • Minimum of two (2) years related experience.
