We are seeking Polish Over-the-Phone Interpreters (OPI) to support our USCIS contract. Polish is a priority Eastern European language frequently requested for asylum immigration and naturalization interviews.

Responsibilities

Provide real-time Polish English telephonic interpretation for USCIS interviews hearings and official proceedings.
Interpret with accuracy neutrality and professionalism in immigration legal and administrative contexts.
Maintain confidentiality in compliance with USCIS/DHS standards.
Manage both scheduled assignments and urgent/surge requests.
Participate in training compliance refreshers and quality assurance reviews.

Qualifications

Native or near-native fluency in Polish and English.
2 years of professional interpreting experience (immigration legal healthcare community or government preferred).
Strong knowledge of interpreter ethics confidentiality and cultural sensitivity.
Excellent communication and telephone interpretation skills.
Must be a U.S. Citizen or permanent resident eligible for Tier 3/Tier 5 security clearance.
