Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer to join our growing team. As a Network Engineer you will be responsible for maintaining and upgrading our companys network infrastructure. This includes designing implementing and troubleshooting network systems to ensure maximum performance and availability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design implement and maintain network infrastructure including switches routers firewalls and other network devices
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Perform routine maintenance and upgrades to ensure optimal network performance
- Collaborate with other IT team members to implement new technologies and improve existing systems
- Develop and maintain network documentation and diagrams
- Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support and maintenance
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve our network infrastructure
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Network Engineer or related role
- Strong knowledge of network protocols and technologies including TCP/IP DNS DHCP VPN and VLANs
- Experience with network security and firewalls
- Proficient in network monitoring and troubleshooting tools
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Certifications such as CCNA or CCNP are a plus
