Job Summary
Hiring: W2 Candidates Only
Visa: Open to any visa type with valid work authorization in the USA
Key Responsibilities
-
Design implement and maintain security systems and controls
-
Monitor networks and systems for security breaches and suspicious activity
-
Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
-
Investigate and respond to security incidents and breaches
-
Develop and enforce security policies standards and procedures
-
Implement firewalls IDS/IPS antivirus SIEM and endpoint security tools
-
Perform risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies
-
Ensure compliance with security standards and regulations (ISO 27001 SOC 2 GDPR etc.)
-
Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security into systems
-
Keep up to date with emerging cyber threats and security technologies
Required Skills
-
Strong knowledge of network security firewalls VPNs and protocols (TCP/IP DNS HTTP)
-
Experience with operating systems (Linux Windows macOS)
-
Understanding of encryption authentication and access control mechanisms
-
Familiarity with security tools (SIEM IDS/IPS EDR vulnerability scanners)
-
Scripting or programming skills (Python Bash PowerShell or similar)
-
Knowledge of cloud security (AWS Azure GCP)
-
Incident response and threat analysis skills
Qualifications
-
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Security or related field

5 years of experience in cybersecurity or IT security (varies by role level)
