Your mission
As a Working Student Data Engineer you will support the design and development of scalable data systems that power our investment intelligence and automations. Youll collaborate closely with our Data Scientist and the investment team to turn scattered complex data into actionable insight:
- Assisting in the design and implementation of data pipelines to collect transform and structure data from multiple internal and external sources.
- Working with APIs databases and cloud-based storage to prepare data for analysis and modeling.
- Supporting the integration of ML features and assisting in deploying analytical models in production-like environments.
- Automating data workflows and improving the efficiency of existing scripts and pipelines.
- Contributing to internal documentation and data quality assurance processes.
- Exploring AI-assisted development tools (e.g. Claude Code Cursor Copilot) to improve productivity and workflow automation.
Your profile
- We are looking for a motivated technically curious student who loves building things that work and learning fast while doing so.
- You are currently enrolled in a Bachelors or Masters program in: Computer Science Data Engineering Software Engineering or a related technical field.
- Strong programming skills in Python (experience with pandas SQLAlchemy or requests a plus).
- First-hand experience with databases (SQL or NoSQL) and basic data modeling.
- Interest or prior exposure to ETL tools APIs or data pipeline frameworks.
- Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS GCP or similar) and Docker is a plusnot a requirement.
- A self-starter mindset with strong attention to detail reliability and eagerness to learn.
- Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
