Working Student Product Customer Engagement Recommendation (mfd)

Your Tasks

• Design and maintenance of statistical and machine learning models for demand forecasting and inventory optimization
• Analysis of large-scale supply chain data (SAP RELEX sales) for trend detection anomaly identification and improvement opportunity assessment
• Development of decision-support tools and dashboards for replenishment planning and inventory management
• Collaboration with Operations IT Category Management and other stakeholders for the integration of predictive models into supply chain processes
• Monitoring and improvement of KPIs such as forecast accuracy inventory turns stock availability and system usage
• Leadership of research initiatives on new forecasting techniques optimization models and technologies
• Support of automation initiatives for manual processes including user training and change management
• Contribution to continuous improvement through the identification and implementation of best practices

Your Profile

• Bachelors/Masters in Data Science Operations Research Industrial Engineering Statistics Mathematics Supply Chain Management or related field
• Advanced proficiency in Python or R for analytics and predictive modeling
• Strong SQL skills and experience handling large datasets
• Knowledge of time series machine learning forecasting and inventory optimization techniques
• Familiarity with optimization tools (e.g. Gurobi SAS)
• Strong quantitative and problem-solving skills with ability to communicate complex analytics clearly
• Collaborative proactive and adaptable mindset
• Fluent in English fluency in German is an advantage
