About the role
Reporting to the Telecommunications IT Manager as the Data Network Administrator is responsible for ensuring the availability and performance of voice data and radio IP network systems including advanced fault analysis and escalation of complex problems maintaining the integrity and security of Essential Energys communications network including internet gateways and firewalls.
Additionally you will be responsible for ensuring all policies procedures and standards are adhered to and implemented in the application of day to day and ongoing Telecommunications Business Systems of work.
This is a fixed term opportunity until March 2026 and can based anywhere withinEssential Energys operational footprint.

You will have demonstrated experience in a similar communication role and will have previous experience in and specialist knowledge of Radio Communication systems Data Communication systems and Telephony systems.
