We have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Assistant to join our Ethnic Retail Grocery team in Mulgrave VIC!
Primary Responsibilities:
1. Tele-Sales and Customer Support:
a. Respond to customer inquiries via phone email or chat promptly and professionally.
b. Responsible for tele-sales order processing returns product/service information and other order related matters.
c. Resolve tele-sales customer complaints efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude.
2. Sales Support:
a. Report to respective State Sales Supervisor on closing stores/potentially closing stores/new store opening for tele-sales customers.
b. Working with various teams (i.e. Sales Support Team Operation Team Finance Team) to coordinate all the sales operation with assigned stores if needed. (Include but not limited to Deliveries Collection Customer Enquiries/Complaints)
c. Consolidate feedback and reports to support HOS (Include but not limited to sales reports achievement reports inventory reports short code clearance reports PIMI reports Forecast reports monthly special reports.)
d. Carry out all Sales Representative job responsibilities as relief/replacement staff when necessary.
3. Trade Marketing Support:
a. Assist in-store sampling coordination with Trade Marketing Supervisor:
i. Plan and execute in-store sampling/demo events in collaboration with marketing and retail partners.
ii. Schedule demo staff assign locations and ensure adequate product/inventory supply.
iii. Conduct demo briefing and training to corresponding demo agencies or promoters.
iv. Liaise with sales team to secure sampling stores and optimise demo placements.
v. Assist in customer engagement & reporting.
vi. Oversee interactions between demo staff and customers to boost brand awareness.
vii. Collect customer feedback and insights for marketing/sales teams.
viii. Submit post-event reports (attendance sales impact challenges).
b. POSM and Colleterial Management Support:
i. Manage distribution of demo products POS materials and equipment.
ii. Ensure adherence to health/safety regulations (e.g. food handling hygiene standards).
iii. Track and manage POSM inventory/supply levels.
c. Merchandising Team Management Support:
i. Manage and maintain merchandising call cycle and routine.
ii. Assign daily/weekly tasks ensuring coverage across assigned stores.
iii. Implement promotional displays and seasonal merchandising updates.
