About you:
The College is seeking a team-oriented individual to assist in providing our hospitality services including canteen and food operations. Ideally you will have the ability to work independently and also participate effectively in a small team be proactive positive and organised. Competent computer skills are also expected.
About the role:
- The convenience of working school hours and enjoying all the school holidays.
- This position is part-time and ongoing with an approximate 70% allotment. For the right candidate we would consider full-time if preferred.
- Commencing 23 January 2026.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assist in the coordination of the day-to-day service of the canteen.
- Food preparation for Hospitality classes as required.
- Assist with undertaking daily/weekly orders ensuring fresh produce and timely deliveries.
- Provide support to ensure deliveries reconcile.
- Adhering to Workplace Health and Safety and Food Safety requirements.
- Cleaning duties as scheduled in the Hospitality and food areas.
- Provision of customer service to students staff and visitors.
- At times prepare food for upcoming events in a timely manner.
The successful candidates will display the following skills and attributes:
- Previous experience in the hospitality industry may even be a Chef.
- Enthusiastic flexible reliable.
- Well developed time management and planning skills.
- A passion for outstanding customer service.
- Ability to work in a team environment as well as autonomously.
- Confident communication style that is in accordance with our values.
- Comfortable working respectfully with students.
