This is a hybrid position offering the flexibility of remote telework with the requirement to be on-site at least one day per week on average. Occasional adjustments may be made based on team needs or project demands.

We are seeking a proactive Senior Software Engineer with full-stack experience to join our growing Budapest Engineering Team!

As a software engineer you will get direct experience designing developing testing and deploying services that work at a high scale and with enterprise reliability.

Our team drives the evolution of Yexts flagship visionary product the core of intelligent marketing. By deeply analyzing AI and large language models (LLMs) we gain insight into how these systems think learn and interact. This insight from both search and marketing perspectives powers smarter more adaptive marketing experiences that connect brands and customers in entirely new ways. Were building the foundation for the next generation of AI-driven marketing innovation.

What Youll Do

Design solutions and technical plans.
Debug review the code and fix any problem in the software domain of the team.
Own and execute assigned projects and plans.
Lead peers and junior engineers in assigned projects.
Design code perform code reviews and test assigned features and user stories.
Assist in prioritization and negotiation to formulate the roadmap of the product.
Participate in making architectural decisions.
Work towards continuous improvement in both the processes of the team and technology.

What You Have

5 years of experience developing business solutions using OOP languages. (At Hearsay youll work with Java and Go!)
Proactive and adaptable mindset capable of thriving in dynamic fast-changing environments while maintaining focus on goals and continuous improvement.
Knowledge of current and well-established component-based frontend libraries/frameworks (preferably React).
Strong experience with relational databases or the same level of experience with any NoSQL database and any NoSQL query language.
Solid experience with cloud concepts and components. Track record of being capable of designing a scalable cloud-based system and explaining it.
Desire to cover your work with tests.
Experience working across the technical stack developing modern web apps and building systems that scale.
Ability to learn new technologies and frameworks quickly.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in software development.
Ability to communicate in English (speaking reading and writing).
