Projects Business Analyst - Global Futures Exchange.As an IT Business Analyst you will be the bridge between business needs and technical solutions in a dynamic trading environment. Key Roles and Responsibilities- Analyze and map RFQ order and trade lifecycles to formulate solutions that improve quality and efficiency across trading systems.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for trading systems initiatives providing guidance to development QA infrastructure and support teams.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across development support and technical business users.
- Deliver scalable algorithmic trading technology in a compliant and flexible manner with hands-on experience in Algo regulation audit and compliance (e.g. MiFID II & RTS6).
- Communicate effectively with traders developers and stakeholders to ensure business requirements are understood and met at all levels of delivery.
- Analyze complex data sets and propose innovative solutions to enhance trading lifecycle processes including order capture execution allocation workflow settlement and compliance requirements.
Qualifications
- Deep understanding of all major global futures exchanges.
- Extensive knowledge of the full exchange-traded derivatives trade lifecycle.
- Minimum of 8 years experience in Commodity Trading & Price Risk Management or Capital Markets / Investment Banks bringing an external perspective to ensure cost: value competitiveness.
- Familiarity with market data providers (Bloomberg Refinitiv etc.) and liquidity aggregation platforms.
- Strong grasp of financial regulations such as MiFID II EMIR and FCA guidelines.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with traders developers and stakeholders.
- Team player with a proactive self-motivated and flexible attitude.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced high-pressure trading environment and meet demanding deadlines with changing priorities.
Required Skills:- Proven experience as an IT Business Analyst in a trading environment (preferably Front Office and/or Middle Office).
- In-depth understanding of Exchange Traded Derivatives and Commodity Trading (Oil and Gas).
- Experience with Third Party Networks and EMS/OMS software vendors (e.g. TT NYFIX Bloomberg TradingScreen).
- Proficiency in instrument static data and Market Data systems & protocols across both Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Solid experience in FIX Engineering and application support/vendor management.
- Strong technical skills in scripting (Python PowerShell C# SQL) and debugging network protocols (TCP multicast).
- Demonstrated ability in exchange certification application deployment and support.
- Experience analyzing and implementing regulatory initiatives (e.g. MiFID II MAD/MAR).
