About the role
The role is part time at 32 hours per week based onsite at Caulfield South.
Reporting to the Director of Finance the Assistant Accountant assists with the day-to-day operations of the Finance department.
Your main duties will include:
- Processing of financial transactions and account reconciliations
- Preparation of weekly profit and cash flow forecasts
- Responsible for Kronos work hours extraction including reporting and variance analysis
About you
- Suitable previous experience in an assistant accountant role
- Degree qualified (essential) completed or studying towards CPA/CA qualification
- Experience in public health would be well regarded
- Sound knowledge of and demonstrated experience in the application of accounting principles
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication organisational and time management abilities
