The Opportunity

Were looking for an enterprising Strategy Managerto join our team and play a key role in developing and executing strategic responses to client briefs proactively pitching to both existing and new clients and driving revenue growth.

Youll work closely with the broader sales team and will report directly to the Group Strategy/Partnerships Manager in Melbourne. This role requires a deep understanding of Sevens premium content assets and cross-platform products as well as the ability to craft innovative insight-led solutions that effectively meet client needs and align with Sevens brand and business objectives.

What youll do:

Drive Total TV revenue growth across our premium content pillars.
Lead the development of strategic responses aligned to Group Business Director groups and proactively pitch to clients.
Conduct regular meetings and brainstorming sessions with Sales & 7Red to understand client needs.
Build a network of connections amongst agency strategy and connections planning teams.
Collaborate closely with Group Business Directors/leads across News Sport & Entertainment and cross-functional teams to execute high-impact campaigns and achieve revenue targets.
Leverage research insights and data to create compelling solutions that align with business objectives.
Represent Seven at industry events and forums to strengthen brand presence.

What youll bring:

Youre a proactive strategic and results-driven partnerships expert with a deep understanding of media content marketing and audience engagement. Youll also have:

Significant experience (7 years) in strategic partnerships communications planning or a related role.
Strong knowledge of broadcast and digital media particularly in News Sport and Entertainment.
A proven track record of driving revenue growth and building strategic brand solutions.
Experience working in agency planning teams and developing insight-led client responses.
The ability to distill complex client challenges into clear media opportunities.
Strong leadership relationship-building and problem-solving skills.
