Position Summary
The facility is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Allergist/Immunologist to join a dedicated and collaborative specialty care team in Shelton CT.

This full-time permanent opportunity offers a collegial and supportive practice environment with a strong emphasis on preventive care patient education and long-term allergy and immunology management. The physician will provide diagnostic evaluations treatment and ongoing management for pediatric and adult patients with allergic asthmatic and immunologic disorders.

Essential Position Responsibilities

  • Evaluate diagnose and manage patients with allergic asthmatic and immunologic conditions.

  • Perform allergy testing immunotherapy and other relevant diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.

  • Develop individualized treatment and management plans for chronic allergic and immune-related diseases.

  • Collaborate with primary care providers and specialists to ensure coordinated patient care.

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record.

  • Participate in team meetings quality improvement initiatives and community outreach programs.

  • Educate patients and families on allergy prevention triggers and long-term management strategies.

Qualifications

  • Education: MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.

  • Licensure & Certification: Board Certified/Board Eligible in Allergy and Immunology; eligible for Connecticut medical licensure.

  • Experience: Previous clinical experience preferred but new graduates and fellows are welcome to apply.
