Job Summary

Job Posting: Locum - Physician - Critical Care

Join a dynamic healthcare team at a leading medical center in Lima Ohio known for its commitment to providing high-quality patient care. This facility features a 425-bed hospital with a focused 18-bed closed ICU delivering comprehensive critical care services in a collaborative environment. We are seeking Critical Care Physicians for PRN/full-time positions with immediate openings available starting as soon as credentialed.

Responsibilities:

Provide inpatient critical care for 18-24 critically ill patients in a closed ICU setting.
Collaborate with APCs and IM/FM/EM residents to ensure high-quality patient management.
Supervise and support other healthcare providers and teaching services.
Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures including central line insertions paracentesis and thoracentesis.
Manage ventilation procedures including invasive and non-invasive techniques.
Provide weekend coverage with a call ratio dependent on night shift staffing.
Maintain documentation using the Epic electronic medical record system.

Qualifications:

Board Certified/Board Eligible in Critical Care (preferably Pulmonary).
Active Ohio State License.
Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
COVID and Flu vaccinations (required at time of credentialing).
Specific availability must be noted upon application.

Licensure and Certification Requirements:

Board Certification/Eligibility in Critical Care (required).
Valid Ohio State Medical License (required).
BLS and ACLS certifications (required).
COVID vaccination status is highly preferred; Flu vaccine required at time of credentialing.
