Position: Transportation Modeller

Location: Cairo Egypt (Smart Village)

Languages: English & Arabic (French is an asset)

Work Model: Hybrid (3 days/week in-office & 2 days/week remote)

Role Overview

Scaliance is seeking an experienced Transportation Modeller to join our Cairo-based competence hub. The selected candidate will support international mobility infrastructure and urban development projects by conducting advanced traffic simulations data-driven analysis and scenario modelling. This role requires strong technical rigour autonomy and seamless coordination with global engineering and planning teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct traffic and micro-simulation modelling using VISSIM Synchro SIDRA and related tools
  
• Collect interpret and validate transportation and traffic data to inform modelling accuracy
  
• Develop calibrate and analyse junction corridor and network models across multiple operational scenarios
  
• Produce technical deliverables including reports diagrams simulation outputs and presentation materials
  
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (planning engineering urban design) to develop recommendations and mobility solutions
  
• Maintain awareness of the latest industry practices modelling methodologies and international standards
  

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Transport Engineering Civil Engineering or Urban Mobility
  
• Minimum 6 years of professional experience in transportation modelling or traffic engineering
  
• Proven proficiency with VISSIM Synchro SIDRA (additional software is an asset)
  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to technical precision
  
• Fluent in English and Arabic (French is considered a plus)
  
• Familiarity with North American transportation standards and challenges
