APIGEE Architect

Downton Toronto - Hybrid 3-4 days in office a week

Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role

Solution Architecture Design

Articulating Business Requirement to Technical Design Document

Client Co-ordination

Process re-engineering

Participate in process flow analysis and process redesign

Assist developers for APIGEE Proxy development.

Setting by developer portal using APIGEE

APIGEE custom proxy design and development.

Defining API Security.

Understanding of APIGEE policies Conduct code reviews and coach developers

Create and understand API Specification designs

Must-Have

1. Experience of APIGEE Enterprise.

1. Knowledge of Restful API design principles

2. Experience with structured Enterprise Architecture practices hybrid cloud deployments and on-premise-to-cloud migration deployments/roadmaps.

3. Collaborate with enterprise architects and IT program managers to enhance existing business applications and facilitate solutions to meet business requirements.

4. APIGEE API Design and Development knowledge and understanding of APIGEE Portal

5. Assist in architecting technical solutions for enterprise systems using the APIGEE product suite to drive the value equation and adapt to a rapidly changing business environment.

6. Good knowledge of cloud computing technologies and current computing trends.

7. Has good understanding of cloud infrastructure and security models.

8. Knowledge of Microservices/ Service development approach Service discovery load-balancing circuit-breaking distributed tracing and monitoring

9. Expert level experience with SOAP and REST web service RAML Swagger open API development and APIs.

10. Experience in architectural concepts for API implementations including encryption security logging throttling etc.

11. Working experience on Apigee API Management Platform.

12. Implementation Experience of API and Microservice (Java Spingboot)
