Job Summary
Full-time/Part-time Research Assistant I/II (several posts) in the Department of Psychiatry School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 533417) (to commence as soon as possible for one year with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a Bachelors degree in (1) Biostatistics Statistical Computing and Data Science or (2) Psychology/Social Science or other related disciplines. They should have an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese the willingness to learn new skills a strong commitment to high quality research good organizational communication and interpersonal skills strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize work and maintain a high level of effectiveness. Experience in clinical research and proficiency in statistical programming (e.g. R) would be advantageous. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
Depending on the successful applicants background he/she may be assigned to carry out the funded research projects (e.g. to collect manage and analyze preliminary data and to provide administrative support); and/or responsible for more sophisticated data analysis; and other duties as team has research focus on psychosis autism electronic health-record studies neurocognitive studies etc. This post provides an excellent training opportunity for those who plan to pursue postgraduate studies in clinical and research field.
