Senior Project Manager IT Transformation
Location: Melbourne Victoria
Business Unit: GBIS Corporate
Reports To: GM of IT PMO & Project Delivery
About the Role
As a Senior Project Manager you will oversee the full lifecycle of a critical IT systems rolloutfrom planning and execution to delivery and stakeholder engagement. Operating at a national level you will drive project outcomes that enhance operational efficiency compliance and workforce capability.
- Project Planning & Scoping: Collaborate with senior stakeholders to define project scope objectives and deliverables. Develop detailed project plans and resource allocation models.
- Budget & Financial Management: Prepare and manage project budgets track expenditures and ensure financial accountability and return on investment.
- Execution & Monitoring: Lead project execution monitor progress against milestones and implement corrective actions to ensure successful delivery.
- Risk & Issue Management: Identify and mitigate risks proactively developing contingency plans to minimise disruption.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the central point of contact for project communications ensuring alignment and transparency across business units.
Experience & Qualifications
- Proven experience delivering complex IT projects in large-scale environments.
- Strong command of project management methodologies including Agile Waterfall and hybrid models.
- Demonstrated success in managing senior stakeholders and third-party vendors.
- Experience implementing technology solutions for field workforces or compliance systems is highly regarded.
- Bachelors degree in IT Computer Science Business or related field.
- PMP PRINCE2 or Agile Certified Practitioner certification preferred.
