Job Summary
Colonial Ford Truck Sales is looking for an experienced and motivated Ford Certified Diesel Service Technician to join our service department. This position involves diagnosing repairing and maintaining medium- and heavy-duty diesel vehicles in a fast-paced team-oriented environment. The ideal candidate is detail-driven dependable and eager to continue developing their technical expertise.

Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic and repair work on medium- and heavy-duty diesel vehicles
Inspect troubleshoot and maintain key vehicle systems according to repair orders
Follow detailed checklists to ensure all safety and performance components are reviewed
Test-drive vehicles to verify proper operation following repairs
Accurately document work performed and comply with all warranty and manufacturer standards
Maintain clean organized work areas and return vehicles in top condition
Communicate effectively with service advisors and team members
Attend ongoing factory training and stay current with technical bulletins
Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain positive relationships with clients
Support overall shop productivity and efficiency goals set by management
Qualifications
Ford Certification required
Minimum 1 year of dealership or fleet experience preferred
High school diploma or equivalent required
ASE or CDL certification preferred
Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills
Must provide own tools
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Self-motivated and professional demeanor
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
