Logistics & Resource Management
Oversee operations at ChewonkisPackout facility including gear maintenance equipment inventories and food systems.
Coordinate outfitting and rationing forovernight trips expeditions solos and outdoor skills weekendsacross multiple program areas.
Train and support seasonal staff inlogistical protocols food safety and packing systems.
Liaise withlicensing and regulatory agenciesto maintain compliance with Maine Department of Health and Human Services ACA and Department of Agriculture standards.
Serve as primary point of contact for program leaders to ensure logistical readiness for field-based activities.
Rental Group Coordination(JanuaryMay AugustDecember)
Act as thesite representativefor external rental groups using Chewonkis campus.
Greet groups at arrival and departure provide access to facilities and uphold expectations outlined in rental agreements.
Serve asovernight on-call supportfor group needs and campus adherence to policies.
Collaborate with internalfacilities kitchen and program departmentsto ensure operational excellence.
Program & Community Support
Assist in training seasonal staff in areas such asfood handling equipment usage and packing systems.
Supportprogram delivery including occasional facilitation of interpretive or challenge-based activities based on expertise.
Contribute torisk management practices campus duties and community meals.
Provide rotational support to theWildlife Centerfor animal care tasks as needed.

Qualifications
21 years of age
Wilderness First Responder certification (required)

Experience inlogistics outdoor operations equipment or food systems coordination or related fields
Strongcommunication collaboration and problem-solvingskills
Experience inoutdoor education environmental programs or guest group supportpreferred
ServeSafe Manager Maine Guide and/or ACA Instructor certificationpreferred or willingness to obtain
