The Aquatics Manager position with British Swim School is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the aquatics program and customer service interactions. We are looking for an energetic friendly and customer focused individual that is passionate about water safety survival and stroke development. This person should also enjoy working with students and staff of all ages and have a high aptitude for learning coaching other team members and communicating effectively to customers and management. Priorities include ensuring the British Swim School program is delivered according to brand and safety standards team management initial and ongoing training as well as teaching swim lessons.
Your Typical Responsibilities:
- Manage employees to maintain a smooth execution of daily aquatics and service operations.
- Assists in creation of employee schedules and pool lesson schedules.
- Address and document employee customer and pool incidents that occur.
- Teach and lead swimming lessons.
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
- 1 years experience of swimming school management is preferred.
- 3 years experience in teaching swimming lessons.
- Lifeguard CPR First Aid Certifications.

While we teach swimming to people of all ages and abilities most of our students are preschool and elementary-aged kids. Our instructors should like working with this age group and be good at making parents feel comfortable. Its helpful if you have experience with children or in a child-focused job but its not required if you can show the right attitude. The job comes with specialized training in our advanced and unique British Swim School approach.
