Waldorf Astoria is looking for a Food and Beverage Manager to join the team in Chicagos Gold Coast!
This Forbes 4-Star property located in downtown Chicago has a Parisian-style charm with 318 rooms 8500 square feet of banquet space and 3 food and beverage outlets. This includes a restaurant cafe and in-room dining.
In this role you will oversee in-room dining managing a team of 14 reporting directly to the Assistant Director of Food & Beverage and assisting in the other two food and beverage outlets as needed.
The ideal candidate will be an exceptional leader with a talent for building comradery a drive for delivering excellence and champions a positive culture. At least 2 years of food and beverage leadership experience in a luxury hotel is required. Prior experience in a union environment and in-room dining are a plus.

What will I be doing
As a Food & Beverage Manager you will direct and organize the activities of the Food & Beverage departments to maintain the high standards of food and beverage quality service and marketing to maximize profits through outstanding customer service.
- Plan and direct the functions of administration and planning of the Food & Beverage department to meet the daily needs of the operation.
- Implement effective controls of food beverage and labor costs.
- Ensure compliance with health safety sanitation and alcohol awareness standards.
- Help ensure high standards of food and beverage quality service and marketing to maximize profits and ensure outstanding customer service.
- Interview train supervise counsel schedule and evaluate staff.
The annual salary range for this role is $65000-$70000 and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.
