Requirements

  • 1 year(s) of experience in an office administrative position is an asset
  • Strong PC skills i.e. Word Excel Power Point and MS Outlook
  • Excellent time management and proven ability to effectively prioritize work flow
  • Self-starter and proactive team player
  • Superior organization
  • Extremely detailed oriented
  • Ability to take direction from multiple stakeholders
  • Level1 General Insurance License is an asset


A Day in the Life

  • Updating invoicing performing quality reviews and generating letters using the Broker Management System (EPIC)
  • Preparing refund requests as required
  • Scanning & attaching documentation in Broker Management System
  • Coordinate and handle daily incoming mail (hardcopy and electronic)
  • Processing outgoing mail
  • Closing of ICBC transactions and procedures
  • Review documents for Quality Assurance protocols
  • Assist in monitoring and maintaining ICBC inventory back-end inventory
  • Process and package outgoing mail
  • Ensure the organization of outstanding documents and storage are in compliance and completed.
  • Support and/or collaborate with internal stakeholders
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

The expected salary range for this position is $40000 to $45000 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidates skills experience and working location as well as the specific positions business line scope and level. HUB International is proud to offer comprehensive benefit and total compensation packages which could include extended health benefits disability insurance RRSP matching paid-time-off benefits and eligible bonuses and commissions for some positions.
