Idaho National Laboratory is hiring an IT Project Manager to work on our Software Project Management team. Our team works a 9x80 schedule located out of our Research Education Campus (REC) in Idaho Falls ID with every other Friday off.
You will use specific knowledge about one or more areas of information systems to research plan communicate and achieve objectives through program/project teams. Engaged in the design implementation and modification of IT projects that span across functional organizations; establishes project scope priorities budget deadlines and deliverables schedules; prepares project execution plan and identifies appropriate technical and business resources needed; provides technical and analytical guidance to project team; tracks and executes project plans from start to completion; modifies schedules or plans as required and communicates impact to relevant stakeholders; ensures projects are completed on schedule within budget and meet technical requirements of the assignment; coordinates with software quality assurance (SQA) to ensure the development of quality assurance test plans and the execution of quality assurance testing; facilitates discussions and builds consensus among various project stakeholders; recommends changes for improvement of the information systems process and to alleviate process inaccuracy and duplication. You will report to the manager for our Software Project Management team.
