Job Summary
Description of the role:
Seeking a skilled and motivated GM Factory trained technician to join our team in Hemet CA. As a GM trained technician you will be responsible for diagnosing maintaining and repairing various GM vehicles to ensure customer satisfaction and safety.
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday Friday Some Saturdays as needed
Responsibilities:
- Keeping accurate records of work performed
Diagnose and repair all aspects of vehicles accurately and quality control checks on repairs
Perform routine maintenance including oil changes brake repairs and tire rotations
Use GM factory diagnostic equipment (GDS2 Techline etc.) and service information
Document work performed and complete repair orders
Stay current on GM technical training and certifications
Collaborate with service advisors and other team members to ensure top customer satisfaction
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Requirements:
- GM Certification preferred (or willingness to complete GM training promptly)
ASE Certification(s) a plus
Minimum 2 years of automotive technician experience (GM-specific experience highly desired)
Proficient with diagnostic equipment and electronic repair manuals
Valid drivers license and clean driving record
Strong work ethic and attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team
Must own basic tools
Compensation:
$26.00 - $40.00 per flat rate hour paid semi-monthly
