As a Talent Acquisition Specialist you will be responsible for overseeing the entire cycle of recruitment building relationships and collaborating with stakeholders promoting and attending job fairs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage the entire talent acquisition process including screening resumes conducting structured phone/video screens and administering skills tests where relevant.
- Write inclusive clear job descriptions post to targeted channels and source passive candidates
- Represent the company at job fairs campus recruiting and industry events to attract top talent.
- Respond quickly during unexpected talent shortages hiring freezes or periods of rapid growth.
- Collaborate with other departments to achieve talent acquisition goals.
- Maintain and update internal recruitment systems.
- Advertise open positions across approved channels to source candidates.
- Propose and implement innovative recruitment strategies and research talent acquisition trends to improve the process.
- Developing policies and strategies for acquiring new talent.
- Working with hiring managers to anticipate needs and fill positions.
- Building relationships with applicants and past employees.
- Maintain professional and clear communication with management and peers.
- Keep confidential information within the companys authorized individuals.
- Perform any additional duties as instructed by management.
Qualifications :
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
- Associate degree/bachelors degree.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- 2-3 years of experience in fast-paced recruitment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint).
- Offers and Contracts management and closing strategies.
- Strong sourcing methods (ATS search social recruiting referral programs)
- Understanding of employer branding strategy (Job ads campaigns etc.)
- Experience utilizing social media and other recruitment strategies as business development techniques.
- Ability to create compelling recruitment content for social media to boost employer branding and candidate engagement.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Talent pipeline management with proactive talent pooling and re-engagement strategies.
- Understanding of compliance requirements related to data privacy anti-discrimination laws and US labor regulations.
- Clear communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Candidate empathy and service mindset.
- Organization and time management in a high-volume environment.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary Range: $ 55000 $ 60000
- Performance Bonus
- Vacation Days: 12 days
