The Opportunity

We are seeking a proactive and relationship-driven Industry Engagement Coordinator Placements to play a strategic role in developing and maintaining partnerships with community services organisations.

This position ensures that students enrolled in the Bachelor of IT Bachelor of Business and Bachelor of Community Services programs have access to high-quality compliant and industry-relevant placement experiences that enhance their employability and meet accreditation standards.

Working closely with the Academic Operational Manager Adelaide Campus this role will lead engagement activities across South Australia fostering long-term partnerships and supporting students throughout their placement journey.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of quality field placement opportunities aligned with accreditation and compliance standards.
  • Identify establish and grow partnerships with community services organisations to support student placements.
  • Represent Stanley College through regular industry engagement networking events and site visits.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to assess monitor and ensure the quality of placement experiences.
  • Support students during placements to ensure their safety learning outcomes and professional development needs are met.
  • Contribute to program planning review and continuous improvement of placement strategies and student outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reporting in line with Stanley College policies and compliance frameworks.
  • Promote innovation inclusion and continuous improvement across all engagement activities.

About You

  • Bachelors degree in Business ICT Community Services Education or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience in partnership development stakeholder engagement and/or industry liaison roles.
  • Strong understanding of the community services landscape and workforce development trends.
  • Excellent communication negotiation and relationship-building skills with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with a proactive and solutions-focused mindset.
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks (e.g. Community Work Australia HESF 2015).
  • High level of digital literacy including CRM and document management tools.
  • Current drivers licence and willingness to travel as required.
