As the Administrative Support Officer you will support CTU management and staff by providing reception duties as well as administrative and operational assistance for the day-to-day running of the unit.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Respond to/refer general enquiries and undertake daily reception duties including check in for visitors and trial participants.
- Manage generic email accounts and calendars; assist with onboarding of staff organisation of events activities and mail-outs.
- Manage diary travel and accommodation bookings participant sustenance liaise with other areas within the University and provide administrative support to staff management selection panels and committees as needed.
- Provide general administrative support including ordering stationery catering and routine procurement room bookings facilities and IT requests laundry and waste collection and visitor parking.
- Assist in managing the flow of information establishing and maintaining administrative systems including spreadsheets information systems registers online booking systems procedures and databases.
This is a full time continuing contingent position based primarily at Griffith Universitys Gold Coast location. This means the role is ongoing but continued employment is dependent on the availability of external funding.
As Griffith is a multi-campus University you may be required to work across other campus locations. Griffith Universitys campuses are located on the lands of the Yugarabul Yuggera Jagera Turrbal Yugambeh and Kombumerri peoples.
Salary Range
The full-time base salary for HEW Level 4 is in the range $73623 - $77680 per annum plus 17% employer superannuation. The total FTE package is in the range $86138 - $90885 per annum.
About you
To be successful in this position you will hold relevant tertiary qualifications and subsequent practical experience in clinical trials or health and medical research or an equivalent combination of relevant skills knowledge and experience.
In addition to the above you will demonstrate:
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to effectively prioritise and manage multiple tasks.
- Excellent communication skills with experience in building and maintaining relationships including.
- Strong computer skills with and experience in procurement and financial transactions.
- An understanding of the clinical sector and associated confidentiality.
