We are looking for someone to head up the Custodial and Event Production team with the Wisconsin Union at the Pyle Center. The position oversees both the 1st and 2nd shift custodial and event set-up operations within the Pyle Center and One Alumni Place with opportunities to help at our other locations including the Memorial Union and Union South.
This position supervises 6 full time employees and up to 8 part time student employees and is responsible for the daily cleaning operations of both the interior and exterior of the building to ensure the facilities are maintained in a clean safe and orderly environment. They will also be responsible for the set-up tear down and clean up after all events in the Pyle Center and One Alumni Place with events ranging from small groups of 5 people up to groups of 300 people.
Other responsibilities include scheduling assigning project work inspecting work to make sure it meets department standards inspecting event spaces to make sure they are set correctly maintaining inventory of cleaning and meeting room supplies and providing training and support for the team.

-One year Custodial experience
-Experience in leading and guiding the work of others preferably within the custodial field
-Fluent in English speaking and writing
-Basic computer skills
-6 months of Management experience
-Experience using Microsoft word
-Experience for event setup and teardown
High School diploma- preferred
