Experience: 36 years in Production Application Support / Site Reliability Engineering (Banking/Financial Services)
Work Model: 24x7 rotational shifts ODC environment (no personal digital devices)
Responsibilities
Act as SRE for Core Banking & Legacy applications ensuring uptime resilience and reliability.
Lead and drive P1/P2 bridge calls coordinating with application infra DB and network teams.
Monitor and recover batch jobs (CA7 Informatica PowerCenter) ensuring End-of-Day (EOD) / Start-of-Day (SOD) processing runs smoothly.
Fix Mainframe/ETL batch job abends within SLA/SLO and support CICS regions.
Manage file transfers and integrations (Connect:Direct IBM Sterling Control Center MQ).
Provide production support for core banking modules (Deposits Loans Payments General Ledger).
Resolve transaction failures reconciliation mismatches and settlement issues.
Conduct incident triage RCA and drive permanent fixes for high-severity issues.
Proactively enhance monitoring and alerting (Dynatrace Logscale Splunk Grafana Bigpanda).
Automate repetitive support tasks to reduce toil.
Collaborate with business stakeholders on banking-critical issues and ensure compliance with SLAs and regulatory standards.
Participate in DR drills HA testing and compliance audits.

Strong Mainframe & Legacy systems expertise.
Experience with batch scheduling EOD/SOD ETL monitoring and file transfers.
Strong incident management RCA and bridge call handling.
Banking/financial services domain knowledge with focus on transaction flows & reconciliations.
Knowledge of Disaster Recovery High Availability and regulatory compliance (SOX PCI-DSS).
Ability to work under strict SLAs and regulatory environments.
