Transportation and Safety Specialist

Arc of Onondaga is seeking a Transportation and Safety Specialist to ensure our facilities fleet and operations meet all safety standards and regulatory requirements.
About the Role:
As a Transportation and Safety Specialist you will play a key role in maintaining the safety integrity and compliance of Arcs sites and vehicles. Responsibilities include:
Conducting safety and site inspections
Performing vehicle inspections
Coordinating and executing fire drills
Delivering OSHA fire and driver safety training
This position supports the safety and wellbeing of individuals with developmental disabilities and the staff who serve them.

Requirements:
Associate degree (or equivalent experience)
12 years of related experience
Knowledge of OSHA Fire and Hazard Communication regulations
Valid NYS drivers license and acceptable driving record
Flexibility to work varied hours as needed
A combination of education and experience may be considered to meet these requirements.
